Josey Reinhardt is a Nashville, Tennessee–based songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist whose music bridges poetic Americana storytelling with expansive rock production. A lifelong student of melody and atmosphere, Reinhardt’s work draws from the songwriting brilliance of The Beatles, the progressive ambition of Rush and King Crimson, the emotional intimacy of Elliott Smith, and the conceptual soundscapes of Planet P Project.
Josey’s songs often live in the space between memory and dream—reflective narratives layered with textured guitars, analog keyboards, and cinematic arrangements. As both a songwriter and producer, he approaches recording as an art form in itself, building songs instrument by instrument until they form immersive sonic landscapes.
Over the years, Josey has toured across the United States, developing a catalog of music that includes releases such as Lost In Memory, Death By Deceit, Nothing New, and Sleepwalking. His work carries a reflective tone rooted in Americana songwriting traditions while reaching toward the experimental edges of indie and progressive rock.
Offstage, Josey’s musical legacy continues through his family as well—he is the father of Nashville country singer Macartney Reinhardt, reflecting a shared passion for songwriting and performance.
Whether in the studio or on stage, Josey Reinhardt’s music remains driven by a simple idea: that songs can be both intimate confessions and expansive worlds all at once.
